Original fiction reading of the month included Christie's Evil Under the Sun, which is one I thought I'd read when I was young, but had no record of. Reading it now didn't especially answer the question, since I've definitely seen the David Suchet episode (also a long time ago). As I was reading, I vaguely remembered whodunnit, but not how. Regardless, it wasn't one of my all-time favorites of hers, but I enjoyed it and am glad I can now officially check it off my list.

As I mentioned at the end of March, I was out of the country and with rather spotty internet access for almost a month from mid-March to mid-April, so that's why I'm combining my March and April fic recs this year. On top of that, I had an extremely busy day today and almost forgot that it was May 1st and time to post them, but here they finally are, squeaking in under the wire with a few hours to spare! 😅

With Twitter taken over by a right-wing billionaire (and potentially on its last legs entirely due to his mismanagement), I've seen a couple new friending memes here on Dreamwidth: one general fandom and one specifically for the MDZS/The Untamed fandom.

Posting a day early as I'm going out of town and not sure how much internet access I'll have tomorrow. Here are some of the fics I enjoyed in June. For some reason I had zero attention span for longer works this month, so these are almost all short and smutty oneshots. 🤷‍♀️ However, I did binge three new dramas, and explored the AO3 tag a bit for all of them. Just experimenting with using Markdown syntax in Dreamwidth via some quick and dirty omegaverse recs. I don't read tons of omegaverse, but when I do I tend to favor:

• detailed or unusual worldbuilding
• a light-hearted tone
• good smut
• some combination of the above
